Castiglione della Pescaia is a small village located on the coast of the Tuscan Maremma area. It is an ideal destionation for anyone who want to experience the different aspects of this still wild and proud land.
Castiglione della Pescaia is a wonderful village having a low and a high area. In the low area You may find the harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. In the high area is the antique village, with old houses and the "Castiglione", the antique castle hung on the sea.
Hills covered by brushes dominating the blue mirror of the sea from ones side and the open spaces of the lowlands to the other. Sweet-smelling and blossomed evergreen bushes crossed by shaded lanes where You may be surprised by a wings flap or by a black wild boar with his puppies.. brushes with many traces and many sounds, breaked by twinkling stretches of water and cheered up by the musical chirruping of little birds.
